Four numbers, ten targets. Combine the numbers with the four operations to reach 1, 2, 3 and every number up to 10.
Every puzzle gives four numbers from 0 to 9. Each expression must use all four exactly once, with addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and parentheses as needed.
Make each number from 1 to 10 at least once. Fractions are allowed along the way, so 8 ÷ 3 × 3 makes 8.
Start with the targets you can see at once, such as the sum of all four or a simple product, then work toward the harder ones. Division and subtraction often turn a large product into a small target.
Every puzzle here is checked in advance: all ten targets can be made.
